Over the Christmas and New Year period we’re sharing some additional good news stories from the sector in 2023. This time we hear about a breakfast meeting enjoyed by ÁÕÀÅÊÓƵ’s East Lincolnshire Registered Managers Network at County Care Group Ltd Project Café.
ÁÕÀÅÊÓƵ’s East Lincolnshire Registered Managers Network welcomes registered managers from across the coast of Lincolnshire, to create a safe space of learning, sharing and networking.
This year the group decided to try something a little different, and run a breakfast network meeting hosted by County Care Group Ltd Project Cafe in Skegness.
Project Café run by County Care Group Ltd simulates all the workings of a friendly café, servicing the County Care community. From taking orders and handling cash, to preparing meals and managing inventory, this incredible real-world experience is instrumental in helping individuals to develop the skills and confidence to apply for jobs at everyday cafés.
On the day of the meeting, the Mayor and his deputy were drawn in by the smell of bacon and hot coffee. Skegness Mayor Pete Barry and the Deputy Mayor sat down with registered managers to learn more about their role and services as well as all about ÁÕÀÅÊÓƵ and the Registered Managers Network.
They were interviewed by Project Radio, also run by County Care Group Ltd, and took a look around the kitchen.
