We're working in collaboration with awarding organisations to develop new qualifications needed in the care sector that are high quality, consistent and well understood.

There are currently eight qualifications for adult social care.

Approval process

We have a process of approval for RQF qualifications against specifications developed in consultation with employers, the Department of Health & Social Care and other stakeholders in adult social care.

If you are an awarding organisation looking to develop a qualification or further information or clarification is required please email NWDCS@skillsforcare.org.uk
